Human resource and people professional apprenticeships are designed to develop the underpinning knowledge, skills, behaviours and confidence that will aid progression, specifically targeted around the skills required work within a HR or people management function of an organisation.

These skills may include resolving HR issues in line with statutory and company policy, bringing best practice to the organisation, providing an excellent level of customer service on varying HR matters and develop an understanding of how the strategic goals of the company relate to the role HR professionals are in.

This membership is worth £500. This enable participants to have valuable access to other HR professionals and will enhance the whole learning experience

Course Levels

HR Support Level 3 (Advanced)

This level 3 programme is suitable for anyone who has the HR function as part (or all) of their job role. It is designed to support learning and development of the knowledge, skills, professional behaviours, and confidence to carry out the HR function effectively. The programme covers:

  • Business understanding (HR should be commercially focused)
  • Personal development
  • The HR function
  • HR systems processes and information and process improvement
  • HR legislation / employment law and HR policy
  • Employment rights and responsibilities
  • Service delivery
  • Communication and teamwork
  • Problem solving
Course Levels

People Professional Level 5 (Higher)

This level 5 programme is suitable for those who will use their HR expertise to provide and lead the delivery of HR and people management solutions, delivering advice and guidance on several HR areas and supporting positive employee relations,, helping to develop a workforce for the future.

As part of this apprenticeship, learners will work towards the CIPD Associate Diploma in People Management Level 5, leading to Associate membership of CIPD. The programme covers:
