We are delighted to confirm that Aaron Ayshford of Amanda Ayshford Estate Agents in Devon, a Crown Vocational Training apprentice, has been named as Propertymark’s Apprentice of the Year following their annual ceremony in London on 1st December.
Hosted by Phil Spencer, a well recognised TV presenter and journalist, the awards recognised learners who had gone above and beyond, spotlighting all finalists by commending the standards they were setting for the industry and their professionalism’s impact on consumers. In the graduation-style ceremony, those who achieved their qualification in the last 12 months were also recognised for their achievements.
Aaron, who started his apprenticeship in Junior Estate Agent aged just 16 back in 2022, received the top marks of all learners who achieved their apprenticeship end-point assessments in the past year, a tremendous achievement and testament to the hard work and dedication put in to his studies.
Karen Sallows, director of Crown Vocational Training, was very pleased with the news and commented: “It’s such a wonderful achievement to be confirmed as the Apprentice of the Year and I must offer my congratulations to Aaron and also to Broni, his tutor at Crown, who worked with Aaron during his training programme.”
As part of the nominations for this year’s awards, Crown also had further representation in the Apprentice of the Year award category with Lauren Blair of Boydens also shortlisted as a finalist based on receiving some of highest marks at end-point assessment. Congratulations to both Aaron and Lauren for their nominations!
