The property industry is absolutely booming at the moment. People are wanting to move, buy and rent, and with all the recent announcements about the stamp duty holiday, who can blame them? With that in mind, there will be a lot more work for estate and lettings agents. Some people are put off by negative past experiences. We know some estate agents get negative press, but we’re here to help change that. Being an estate agent can be challenging but also rewarding in so many ways. What’s on offer?
Crown is one of a handful of training providers to offer property services qualifications. This includes apprenticeships in Junior Estate Agency and Housing and Property Management from trainees at level 2 to senior property managers at level 4. In addition, we are a registered Propertymark centre and this means, we also offer private training for NAEA and ARLA approved qualifications.
New legislation proposed for property professionals means all those who deal with customers directly will need to be qualified to level 3 and those in a senior role will be need a level 4 qualification. We can help you sit your exams and become qualified to the right level.
Throughout all our training programmes you will have access to a range of resources and a tutor on hand to guide you through the course. You can sit your exams at our centre, or at other centres available throughout the country.
Government funding and apprenticeships
You might be considering taking on an additional member of staff to help with increased business as we leave lockdown. There are some great government incentives for taking on new recruits – around £3,000 is on offer for a new apprentice. We can help you find your ideal apprentice and guide you through the process. If you have staff who are taking on more responsibilities, you can also take advantage of government funding to provide training and those much-needed industry qualifications. Crown will work with you to put together a training programme to meet your business requirements.
The results speak for themselves
To date, we have a 100% pass rate on our property services programmes with 88% of junior estate agents receiving a distinction. All our apprentices are allocated an industry experienced tutor who will support them throughout their course. Apprentices have given glowing feedback about the course and their tutors. One of our apprentices said, “My tutor had been going above and beyond to assist me with my learning.” While another said, “The teaching and training was great…all of the information that we received was really thorough and it was really easy to understand.”
