Since August 2012, when Crown Vocational Training was formed (as a separate Company to Crown College), we have strived for excellence and aimed to deliver a high-quality service to both clients and learners. In 2014, we received our first Matrix accreditation, and this year, we achieved that status again. The Matrix report detailed feedback from learners and businesses alike. Amongst the feedback, Learners detailed the high standards of support our staff offer.
“They are good at teaching and build our confidence. They know how to speak to people our age. It’s more like a social group because it is relaxed and not in your face like it is at College. Would recommend it to others but we don’t want to leave here.”
The report also outlined that we work closely with our learners to, not only teach, but ‘go the extra mile’ and ‘put the learner at the centre’ of everything we do at Crown Vocational Training.
Crown “provide an outstanding service to learners and employers in the field of work-based teaching and learning“
Here at Crown, we aim to help learners succeed in education by providing alternative and engaging resources as the Matrix Report detailed. ‘…additional resources are found that specifically help Learners such as YouTube and TED Talks….. ’ We also work with support agencies to further learners’ career opportunities and develop skills for their futures, in both their personal lives and careers.
Overall, we are thrilled with the accreditation. Our mission statement is to ‘provide an outstanding service to learners and employers in the field of work-based teaching and learning.’ This accreditation affirms our staff’s high level skill set and ability to provide the best quality of education to our learners.
