We are pleased to announce that a new Property & IT college course will launch this September at Crown Vocational Training based on feedback from learners and local employers keen to see young adults progress into the property industry.
The new Property & IT course is a full-time college-based course for 16-18 year olds who have the desire to pursue a career within the property industry. Across a 4-day training week, prospective learners will have the opportunity to learn a variety of essential workplace skills and knowledge in areas including estate agency, lettings and property management, employability, customer service and I.T. This will be coupled with a period of work experience with a local employer with the placement looking to build upon the skills learnt to apply them in a real-life environment.
Estate and lettings agents have identified that there is a rise in the interest for young people to get into the property industry and would like them to have a particular skills set so they can contribute to the success of their organisation. Many young people have also expressed an active interest in this area, so learning the basics of law & legislation, customer service principles, communication, sales techniques and I.T. skills will give them a strong advantage to succeed.
Career progression options could see learners move into an apprenticeship in Estate Agency, Lettings and Property Management, Customer Service or other customer facing roles.
