We are delighted to announce that, following a full Ofsted inspection of our training provision in mid-June, we have achieved grade 2 “Good” outcome across all areas, including quality of education, behaviours and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management.
This has not come without a lot of hard work and dedication by all staff at Crown Vocational Training for whom we must thank, along with the strong contributions of our learners and employers too. As anybody in the education sector will testify, an inspection is a rigorous process involving the interviewing of learners and employers, analysing data and observing tutors in action with their delivery.
On establishing what it is like to be an apprentice with Crown, the Ofsted inspection report quotes “Apprentices are highly motivated and are rightly proud of their achievements” and “gain new knowledge and skills swiftly, which prepares them well for their future careers”.
The report goes on to state that “Teachers use their extensive subject-sector knowledge effectively to enrich apprentices’ learning experiences” and that “Leaders work closely with employers to carefully select a curriculum that provides clear progression routes into work within the business, property and lettings industries”.
Karen Sallows, director, was pleased with the outcome of the inspection and commented “Ofsted inspections are a very challenging experience so to be awarded a grade 2 across all judgement areas is just reward for all of the hard work that goes into ensuring a high-quality training experience”.
